Billy the Dog
Stories about the Toppled Bollard first appeared in 2004 as the front letter going out with direct mail shots send by Hamilton House Mailings, selling its own services.
The stories, all of which were limited to a single page, became very popular with readers and even when the tales finally stopped in 2007 many customers and potential customers would telephone and mention the short pieces, and ask when they were going to start again.
After numerous requests the stories were started up again on this blog.
Billy the Dog McGraw is pictured as the Elvis Impersonator publican of the East Midlands public house The Toppled Bollard, wherein gather the elite of the East Midlands marketing intelligentsia to discuss direct marketing. Billy is known for his lectures on the topic, and his ability to start a riot.
Since Billy’s departure from the pages of Hamilton House promotions he has also appeared as a weekly football pundit on the daily blog, Untold Arsenal.
